Re: Holbrook secure at South Carolina

And if that is the case, Holbrook had a lot to do with making us an elite program. Chad may be the only coach this century to coach in 5 out of 7 CWS Championships. That doesn't give him a free...

Re: Holbrook secure at South Carolina

That's why John McNamara can't show his face in a sports bar in Boston after the 86 series.

So Kyle Martin was coached well enough to be a candidate for SEC player of the year, but not well...

Re: The Decline Continues

I think pitching is the area that needs the most improvement. Look at it this way, if you could choose between adding Matt Price to this team or Christian Walker, which would you take. For me I...

Re: The Decline Continues

But convert just 2 more save opportunities, and you are having the same conversation.

Re: EXTEND MARTIN'S CONTRACT TODAY!!!

In a year where Florida, Tennessee, Miss St, and Bama replaced coaches I don't think we saw many suitors for Martin. The parts are in place to turn a corner next year, if he turns that corner, I am...

Re: 2015 SEC Tournament:**USC vs. Missouri GAME Thread**

Maybe the guy that recruited and coached the pitchers. Just a thought.

Re: 2015 SEC Tournament:**USC vs. Missouri GAME Thread**

No, not at all. Just pointing out the insanity of blaming someone for problems but not giving them credit for the solution

Re: 2015 SEC Tournament:**USC vs. Missouri GAME Thread**

Not good. Who recruited and coached the players that were in the bullpen in 2010? Nick Saban lost to Louisiana Monroe one day. So you can blame him for the problems, but don't give him credit for...

Re: The Decline Continues

We need to hire a Hitting Coach with some experience and success. Ray Tanner had Chad Holbrook beside him. Chad does not have that quality of a coach beside him. Jerry did a poor job preparing for...

Re: 2015 SEC Tournament:**USC vs. Missouri GAME Thread**

Cooper was also a Freshman All American. I can see where you wouldn't like Calvi if you give him no credit for the success of his pitching staff. I completely understand now.

Re: 2015 SEC Tournament:**USC vs. Missouri GAME Thread**

I just asked you to go try and play one of the best teams I have seen in the SEC with 2 of your best hitters injured and one of your top 2 starters hurt. It's not an excuse, we play our best...

Re: 2015 SEC Tournament:**USC vs. Missouri GAME Thread**

Try playing the no 1 team in the country with 2 of your best hitters injured and Crowe injured. Say what you want, LSU is one of the best teams I have seen in the SEC. Funny that all the blame is...

Re: 2015 SEC Tournament:**USC vs. Missouri GAME Thread**

So Holbrook should have gotten tossed and left Buscher, Sammy and Wingo to coach the rest of the weekend?

Re: Where's the Best BBQ in Columbia

Maurices serves the meat heated in sauce. Poor form.

If you know how to cook, the meat doesn't need sauce, it's there as a courtesy. When I cook for a crowd I have a Mustard based sauce...

Re: True Grits

Nora Mill in Helen, GA has a Pioneer Porridge that is a mix of white and yellow grits with cracked wheat and rice added. It is awesome with Brown Sugar and some toasted Pecans.
