Re: Gamecocks (-10.5) vs TxA&M

Spur will pay ball control O with the stable and the bulls up front. I think they cover the spread but go under, unless we go up a few scores and he starts letting Dylan air it out some but even then...

Re: Texags

Sumlin is a lot like Petrino in his high flying offensive philosophy. That worries me with an unproven pass rush, unproven secondary, and with Ward trying out the possibility of a 3-4 scheme....

Re: Spurrier's latest victim: Nick Saban....

Bama is top 5 in recruiting because it is Bama but Saban definitely has it at #1. I'll take Spurrier all day on game day with the same talent. The numbers? The numbers at Bama are great but his...

Re: Kyle Fleetwood

I agree, and I'm still PO'd about Rainey. He had size, speed, and hands. His performance in last year's spring game, although he knew the offense, should have at least allowed him to play some snaps...

Re: Our Linebackers and Defense this year.

Whammy better be ready to jump out of a 3-4 scheme as soon as it starts to fail. Alabama gets away with it for the same reason NFL teams can run it, their LBs are HUGE. 250 average. UGA had lots of...

Re: Texans' Bob McNair: Jadeveon Clowney is best in draft

JJ Watt will make sure Clowney is a sure thing, just like Ray LEwis did with any draft pick to the Ravens. In fact, Houston could turn into the new Ravens.

Re: I like how Frank sounds heading into the offseason

We had a 3rd string PG. Chatkevicius turned it on late. Henry beefs up and find a couple of shooters... We b good.

Re: Will Clemson beat SC?

No way. We will find defensive production and offensive production is a given. I would pick Kentucky to beat us over Clemson this year. CU lost way too much talent.

Is this his first year without any Ellis Johnson guys?

Re: Frank Martin has been Suspended 1 Game...

Thornwell is young, Kacinas is a tweener who gets picked by the smalls playing the 3 and dominated by the bigs playing a 4 (and he is also young), Notice is a 3rd string player. Martin has to chill...

Re: Frank Martin has been Suspended 1 Game...

Notice is a 3rd string PG likely to never actually start or get significant playing time had the first 2 not...and when new better talent comes in. Martin shouldn't get so angry at the kid...I agree...

Re: Long road for Coach Martin but...

What about Baniulius? The Baltic bomber lol? I knew Horn was doomed when we lost to CofC and Baniulus was 8-8 from behind the arc. You should never lose a game and have a player perfect from behind...

Re: Pre Spring Depth Chart

I worry about our defense. This will be the first true test for Whammy. Absolutely no star power left over from Ellis. Its his baby now and it is full of unproven youngens.

Re: Clowney inadvertently swipes at Deke?

I agree. Kelcey greatly benefitted by having CLown to his right and he REAAAALLLY needed another year of college. His draft stock has plummeted. I wish him the best of luck though.

Re: Clowney inadvertently swipes at Deke?

Maybe he needs a hardass. If he goes to Houston something tells me Watt will be a whole new kinda hardass.

Clowney inadvertently swipes at Deke?

http://www.gatorzone.com/carter/blog/1647

To say when Lawing left he had to push himself seems to be a major statement on Deke's mentality.

Re: D-line

I wish Harris and English could play LB against run heavy teams. They won't see the field versus Auburn or UGA.

If he has a shot of going pro it probably means we had a great season and I'll be happy.

Re: 2014 Projected Depth Chart

Mason Harris and Darius English should get looks at LB if they don't put on some serious weight.

Re: 2014 Projected Depth Chart

I concur. The only reason it works at Bama is size that we don't have. They were recruiting Clowney to put at OLB for crying out loud.
