Re: Rivalry Thoughts and Predictions

Here in lies the problem. When has USC been able to do that this year? We don't have the horses. A Lorenzo Mauldin isn't in our locker room.

I would be shocked if USC sacked Watson 3 times...

Re: Rivalry Thoughts and Predictions

I just don't have much faith in:

- Our Defensive Ends; especially if Dixon or Johnson get hurt.

- Boundary Safety if Williams has to play Corner.

- Backup linebackers.

Williams at...

Re: How cool would it be to....

I think you would be better off bringing back the hammer formation we used in 2011 (?).

We used to have Lattimore in the gun and would use Carson (eventually Byrd after Carson got hurt) in...

Re: Rivalry Thoughts and Predictions

Nothing has been ordinary about the victories this year for USC. There hasn't been one victory this season where USC played well in all facets of the game and left observers with a warm and fuzzy.

Re: Rivalry Thoughts and Predictions

Don't really feel good about Saturday. Big mismatch for USC, IMO.

Clemson's defensive line destroyed our offensive line last year and I don't really see that changing. USC hasn't been able to run...

Louisville has Lorenzo Mauldin and a pass rush.

Re: Bowl projections

There aren't any bowls with a SEC vs SEC tie in.

The only outside shot would be SEC vs at large but that is pretty much over with the new playoff I think?

Re: Bowl projections

I'm sure Coach Spurrier would love answering the questions on why we didn't offer him as a QB.

Re: Your favorite Greatest Rapper of All Time... GROAT

Kendrick's sophomore album is going to determine which direction he is headed. His debut, GKMC, was very very very good. But he lost out to Macklemore for album of the year and several other awards...

Re: Bowl projections

Neither does Duke Johnson and Brad Kaaya. And trying to contain Phillip Dorsett on the perimeter? Shiiiiit.

I'd rather roll the dice trying to defend Tyrone Swoopes and Jonathan Gray.

Re: THE Vent and Coaching Change Discussion Thread

I don't see how he doesn't move and the reason is I don't think he is ever going to get into the 240-250 lbs range. The coaches have got to keep Walton on the field and they have to find a way to get...

Re: THE Vent and Coaching Change Discussion Thread

My biggest issue has been why it has taken so long to make adjustments. Why did we not start Lammons from the get go and live with the growing pains while leave Brison at Safety to direct traffic?...

Re: Bowl projections

I would definitely go see USC vs Texas.

Miami in the Gator would be a rough matchup.

Northwestern = snoooooozer.

Re: Spurrier on Pharoah: "He wont come say 'my ribs hurt' like some other guys

Pharoh's passes have all been touch passes, actually borderline lobs, or bombs that he has overshot his receiver by a mile. He hasn't exactly had to rifle one in there yet. I'm sure he could play QB...

Re: Why has there been 40 years of failure?

Both coaches' should've been able to adjust, but what if Cherry and Underwood were just that good. I got to see a practice under Darin Horn his 1st year here and Cherry was the man running the show....

Re: Why has there been 40 years of failure?

Our recent struggles are a cluster**** of things but IMO, a big chunk of it has to do with losing top assistants early in the rebuild

Think about it.

Horn lost Scott Cherry after year 1.

Re: Spurrier on Pharoah: "He wont come say 'my ribs hurt' like some other guys

Its incredibly frustrating that its always "something" with Davis. The guy runs hard and makes big plays, there is no denying that but can we please get a full game's worth?

The only time it...

Re: 3,000 / 1,000 / 1,000

They've really been fun to watch. Sure, the playcalling has been suspect but that is nothing new with this program under Spurrier. It comes with the territory. But they have been THE reason why this...

3,000 / 1,000 / 1,000

Mike Davis is 92 yards away from 1,000 .. That would give him back to back 1,000 yard seasons. That would be a first under Spurrier at USC I think.

Pharoh Cooper is 79 yards away from 1,000 .....

Re: Mason Rudolph starting for Okie State

He played at Northwestern High School in SC last year. Mangus didn't really give him a look.

A bit of a head scratcher from what I saw last night. He has talent.
