Re: Jack Wynkoop
Kyle Anderson is a 2015 recruit. The parke kid we just got from Clemson will have some sort of impact next year. Reminds me of Tyler Webb out of high school with stuff and size

It doesnt matter what your opinions are, I am only stating facts. The facts are that Ryan was not a MLB prospects and was drafted by the Orioles for the same reason Houston drafted Roger Clemens son,...

Re: Ryan Ripken
It is becoming a stigma because of what you just said. The best programs get the best players, players that will likely only be with the program for three years. Every year, more talent like that is...

Re: Ryan Ripken
He came in with way too much on his shoulders. The problem is that the fan base saw his name and didnt bother to look at the player himself. He didnt sign with us, he was a walk-on. Most people in...

Re: Baseball Recruiting Thread
Josh Reagan. He was committed to college of charleston before decommitting a few months ago. One of the best lefty pitchers in 2013.

Re: 2015 OF Kep Brown commits
I understand what you said. You are missing my point. The NCAA can do nothing about a verbal commit because that is all it is, verbal. Even if they instituted a rule about a kid choosing between...

Re: 2015 OF Kep Brown commits
I know a LOI doesnt stop a kid from going pro. I was simply saying that the NCAA doesn't recognize verbal commits so as far as they are concerned, a player isn't committed until he signs on the line....

Re: 2015 OF Kep Brown commits
The NCAA has nothing to do with verbal commits. A recruit is not bound to a school until they sign their letter of intent. Until then, it is nothing but a verbal agreement. The NCAA doesn't even...

Hearing that Jamie Callahan's little brother Duncan may be the first commit in the 2016 class. He was Dillon's #2 behind his brother last year.

Re: Shon Carson
He beat him by 5 yards in the 60, not 40. Tanner was only a step ahead of Carson in the 40. Could have been bad start by Carson, could have been an injury, etc. They only ran once so it could have...

Re: Shon Carson
Then you are calling me a liar. I can promise you that English beat Carson in that 60 yard dash by 3-4 steps. The scouts wanted to see English against Carson so they raced at the end, right before...

Re: Shon Carson
I dont believe Shon Carson has ever come close to a 4.25 40. Fastest I ever saw his time at was a 6.38 60 yard. Englishs fastest time was a 6.37 60 yard if I am not mistaken, both at Perfect Game...

I know both he and English. Seen them run the 40 and 60 yard dash against each other. Tanner beat him in both and it wasnt close. I believe that Ahmad Christian will be the only football player on...

Callahan and Wasilewski were the top of the class. Callahan drafted high and Wasilewski decided to start his pro career but there are still some legit guys in Britt and Wynkoop. Hester had surgery...

Re: Who's the fastest...
No idea, I was looking at the St James records. My argument is that if Tanner runs a 6.37 60 yard dash and byrd runs what amounts to a 6.7 65.6 yard dash, they arent as far apart as people would...

Re: Who's the fastest...
Shon Carson ran a 4.4/40 and a 6.4/60 to show someone that has run them both. I believe that Byrd would beat English but it would not be anywhere near as bad as some think. You have to remember how...

Re: Who's the fastest...
Well lets look at it this way. Damiere byrd supposedly ran a 6.7 60 meter if my man is right. That means that he ran 65.6 yards in 6.7 seconds because 60 meters converts to 65.6 yrds. Tanners fastest...

I don't know between Byrd and English. I do know that he wasnt happy with the 6.37 time he had at the perfect game showcase. He had been electrically timed in the 6.2s earlier that week

Re: Who's the fastest...
In favor of tanner. English smoked him in the 60. He beats Carson on the bases and straight ahead. It wasn't even a race
