Re: Clemson, Auburn home and home series

You're right, but unfortunately you're 0-5 in that matchup since 2009.

Re: 2015 Commitment - A.J. Turner

I'm happy we got Denson, but Scarlett is easily the top RB in this class IMO. Speed, power and quick feet. Turner looked good in the one matchup, less so in the other, but for the LB it's basically...

Re: Elcid99

I have no way of knowing who is right in this, but over the years guys come and go who read pay sites and then post on here as if they have connections. (SGF anyone?).
I think there are times that...

Re: Ranking the Opposing Fanbases

I think you nailed it. I'd have Georgia and Alabama switch spots, but having A&M at the bottom is spot-on. I've come to really dislike them very quickly.

Re: 2015 - Davon Durant

Just saw a post that linked his instagram account, stating he and Lewis committed this a.m. Hopefully this is legit. Big-time pickups if true!

Re: Brendan Nosovitch

How many coaches set the odds for Vegas? Hopefully you know the answer is zero. You don't have to be a team's coach to make a projection of how well a team will perform, including scenarios in which...

Re: 2015 - D.J. Jones

From reading the pay sites, Jones seems to be completely open and really does have a top 4-5 of USC, TN, Bama and maybe FSU and/or Clemson. According to TM, we are definitely not the team to beat at...

Re: Brendan Nosovitch

It's true that you never know what strides a player will make. I hope he sticks around as well, but based on a very limited look at him, it would be tough to project him as a guy who could lead a...

Re: Brendan Nosovitch

JMO, but if he beats out Mitch we are in deep kimchi. (Unless he makes major strides.) Would love to see some packages that feature him, but overall Orth to me looks like he has more potential to...

Re: Discussion: 2016 Recruiting Impressions

I read on a Georgia board (FWIW) that Nauta is leaning towards leaving the state, as he's looking for something new and doesn't live that far from Athens.
Long way to go, of course, but as mentioned...

Re: Discussion: 2015 Recruiting Impressions

The biggest factor for the last 2 years is that Sands is not a very good recruiter (and that's putting it mildly.)
Ending with Turner and Shaw would be very underwhelming, as we'd basically end up...

Re: 2015 - Ty'Son Williams

That would be great if true. IMO, the best RBs on the board are, in order:
1. Scarlett
1. Frasier (tie with Scarlett, haha)
3. Turner
4. T. Williams
5. B. Shaw

Supposedly right now it's the...

Re: 2015 - Jordan Scarlett - Florida Atlantic

A rundown of what he likes about his 4 finalists. Will probably take both an unofficial and an OV to USC.

Re: 2015 - Jordan Scarlett - Florida Atlantic

Just my opinion, but would rather have Turner and Scarlett by a wide margin over Shaw and Williams. We'd have a burner in Turner (ready-made nickname, btw) and Scarlett for an elite level every-down...

Re: 2015 - Damon Arnette

It's good to remember we're all just reading the tea leaves. The other DB commits could have had everything or nothing to do with his changing his mind on committing. The bottom line is Grady made...

Re: D.Thompson vs mizz u.

It's not so much that DT is a terrible runner, it's that he looks so goofy when he runs. He's pretty athletic. Maybe he just needs someone to help him run with more style.

Re: Discussion: 2015 Recruiting Impressions

I don't know all the ins an outs, but the thinking seems to be that if he can't get the extra 6 months or so that come from being an early enrollee, the staff doesn't want to bring him in. I like him...

Re: Discussion: 2015 Recruiting Impressions

Apparently Washington was very impressive at the latest camp (in Columbia) and it's very likely his commitment will be accepted.

Re: 2015 Commitment - Octavis Johnson

They might have corrected that, as I looked that article up and it says he is not a candidate to graduate early. Oh well.
This may have already been posted, but just saw that his teammate is a top...

Re: D.Thompson vs mizz u.

If I remember right there was only 1 mph difference between each guy though, so it's pretty much a push.

Re: 2015 - Damon Arnette

Would be great if somehow Abernathy was part of this class as well. 6'1" and he is a burner.
Hard to imagine Arnette would give serious consideration to Kentucky, unless he's really tweaked about...

Re: Discussion: 2015 Recruiting Impressions

That's a pretty realistic list. Don't think Durant ends up here unfortunately, but I think those are the most likely guys at each position. Then again, there were some major surprises in the last...

Re: Discussion: 2015 Recruiting Impressions

Thx. That would be great if he could get in early, as I think it would give the staff more time to evaluate him and put him where he'll be the most productive. As alluded to in his interview, the...

Re: Discussion: 2015 Recruiting Impressions

Where did you read that? (Not questioning it, just would like to know the source.) What would make that even better is that I read on a Georgia board that while Johnson was a great athlete, they...

Re: 2015 - Octavis Johnson

Was my favorite of the DBs on our board other than Fields. Guy looks electric with the ball in his hands as well, so who knows where he'll end up, but I think he's the type of athlete you need on...
