Re: So Disappointed With The Coaching Staff

Our coaching staff has had 3 straight top 10 finishes. They have had a bit of a drop off in a year after losing the NFL's #1 draft pick, 2 starting CB's, and 2 more starting DL.

Re: Does South Carolina still have the most loyal fans?

I completely disagree. Low expectations have never been a problem with this program.

Re: Does South Carolina still have the most loyal fans?

I am fat and middle aged (don't have a playstation) and would give my left nut to walk on and suit up. Can you arrange it?

Re: Does South Carolina still have the most loyal fans?

East Upper was less than half full. Maybe a little over half in the South. Couldn't see the West from my seats. West Club was about half full and West and East Lower about 3/4. I can't remember...

Re: Does South Carolina still have the most loyal fans?

They could have had tickets for $5-$10 at Williams Brice last Saturday.

Re: Does South Carolina still have the most loyal fans?

My answer would be fans that show up for homecoming or get their tickets in the hands of someone who will when the team is 3-3.

Re: Anderson named to Mackey award watch list

How about a basket catch that's a little short but hits both palms.

Re: 2015 Commitment - Lorenzo Nunez

Even though he got injured, Watson was also there for spring practice as well. So he is more experienced than the average true freshman as well.

Re: Chance to win the east

If all 3 have equivalent record head to head will not apply (we beat UGA, UGA beat MO, MO beat us) and the next tiebreaker is record in the division. In your scenario their division records would be...

Foothills Trail. I really like the area around the Jocassee Gorges.

Re: Talent vs Coaching

I personally haven't called for anyone's job, but are you saying that we didn't have enough talent to win the last 2 games? Please explain. Like I said, I am not calling for anyone's job but the...

Re: open discussion of this teams issues (defense)

Fundamentals, leadership and effort. Clowney was overly criticized in my opinion for effort. I have seen multiple players this year just not giving consistent effort. That is where leadership...

Re: Defensive personnel question

John Stamper. Wally Burnham had lots of slow white guys on Defense.

Re: Tired of Sandstorm?

It energizes the student section. We need that. I have also heard opposing coaches refer to it. That is a good thing. We just completed an 18 game home win streak and the Williams Brice...

Re: Cack's Toast of the Game: Texas A&M

I agree on Frye, when we sent him out there I have to be honest, I expected that kick to land half way through the endzone. He has definitely improved his distance and was really close on that kick.

Re: Stat of the Day: Kickoffs

I recall a Georgia game a few years ago when I was screaming as loud as I could for us to kick it out of bounds.

Re: 35 ways to eat a tomato

Okra and Tomatoes and Dukes Mayonnaise and White Bread are 2 of my favorites.

I had a smoked wahoo salad on fresh tomatoes last night that was awesome though.

Re: Backup QB competition

Connor Shaw and Chris Smelley did not Redshirt. Garcia probably would not have if not for his off field problems. There is more in the cupboard now but if the need is there Spurrier will put him on...

Re: 2014 Preseason USA Today/Coache's Poll

They lost Washington and Lucas at WR too. Also Josie at TB and Franklin at QB and 2 OL. Defensively both ends, 2 LB's, and 3 DB's.

Re: Ranking the SEC Stadium Atmospheres/Home Field Advantages

Good analysis. Top 2 can't be argued particularly for loudest. Those 2 stadium designs are just loud. I might give us the nudge over UGA, maybe just bias though. Might also have Bama behind us and...
