Coach Tanner said that he would be in a meeting with Coach Spurrier and if it ran over into this workout time, Coach Spurrier would stop what he was doing to say "I gotta go workout". He also said that Coach Spurrier gets many requests asking him to go speak at events around the state and that Coach Spurrier always volunteers Coach Tanner for all of them because he said he loves to talk. You could tell they are really good friend by the expressions on Coach Tanners face. Also, Coach Tanner said he has Coach Spurrier thinking about staying around until he has 100 wins at the school and that Coach Spurrier not going anywhere anytime soon. While taking a picture with Coach Tanner, he asked me to post it on Facebook and spread the word that he was In Florence. I also mentioned Cockytalk to Gene Warr and Coach Tanner and they both smiled. I mentioned it was great seeing the University pulling in former players from the NFL and getting more involved with them and they both agreed we would see more of this in the near future. It was a great night!
