Well, in my experience it depends on what kind of internet speed you're getting. If you're getting a decent speed(let's say 10mbps/down) then you shouldn't have a problem at all. It depends on your internet usage in general. For example, if you were on your laptop and watching Netflix while someone else was on the main computer just surfing and someone else was streaming to the tv then it could hose it up.

But really, as long as you don't want to have your Netflix stream in the best HD at all times, it shouldn't matter.



Just my experience.. I'm not well-versed in the subject other than that.
