Like others have said, it depend on your internet speed. I have Time Warner Cable and almost nightly I'm watching something on Netflix downstairs while the wife watches something on the iPad upstairs. Never any issues.

Also, I typically run netflix from my macbook pro through my TV and there is zero delay and just barely sub-par HD quality. Very much worth the $8 bucks a month or whatever it is.
