Just FYI - Netflix runs on all of the major gaming systems. So if you have an Xbox 360, Wii, or PS3 - you can stream netflix to that TV. Many blu-ray players and now 'smart' tvs have netflix and wifi built in for your streaming convenience also.

My wife can stream on her ipad, I can stream on my phone (only do this with wifi, the data usage is pretty high).

If you're cutting down on TV, I would recommend getting a Hulu+ account. You can watch current TV shows, the day after they air.
