Yeah I am aware of that, but in general it is not a viable option. 3G isn't really fast enough to stream video, let alone HD video. Also most cell carriers have data limits for cell phone tethering and mobile hot spots. For the use case I'm thinking of (Watching games all day while tailgating before a night game), you would run through that bandwidth pretty quickly. The only real viable option with that would be an a truly unlimited 4G plan, which I think only sprint offers now, which also isn't available in Columbia.
