I talked to a lot of UNC fans before the game and even afterwards. Classy and good group of fans. They did not even have wine and cheese at their tailgate. It sounds like they really care about football and that might help them if Fedora can get some decent reruits.
Heat/early game time/lack of a close score kept the noise down. The coaches played it conservative - and smart - by working the clock and keeping UNC's offense off the field. That meant fewer big plays and downfield shots, which also dampened the enthusiasm.
