I agree with everything spurt said. From what I saw from Florida yesterday, they seem to have a better overall team than Georgia this year. My opinion is the FLORIDA game will be big game for us. And by the way, I DONT feel sorry the least for Georgia with there schedule. They have waaay to easy.
I don't either... and that's really why I stay kind of "low key" with the
smack about UGAs schedule the past few years. Really, it's hard to believe
it when you're looking a short string of good seasons, but in the long
run (over a period of 10-12 years) if you look at it, scheduling evens out.
We just hit that stretch where we were playing Top 5-10 teams and
UGA had maybe one other besides us. ..... The thing about it though is
that when that defining game came along, we couldn't and they did.
They did what they had to do to win the East, and we gave it away
in close games. We have to start taking it when we get in those situations.
I think this years team is set to do it. I really feel confident that Spurrier
and the rest of the staff are going down to Athens with that mindset
this Saturday. I think a few players (JD especially) want to put any notion
that they were less than 100% conditioned last week, and show the
world what kind of team they really are. Take this one and we are in
command of the East Early on.
