He is on the sidelines, why? So far this is his worst year yet. Is he playing it safe for the NFL? I am wondering about heart. Has the tools but his motor has to be in question.

he may look tired but its the lack of other impact players on the defense that is killing us. even when ESPN put up our defensive impact players he was the only one.
if there is only one guy on a defense that can hurt you, you simply stay away from him. he has had the luxury of playing with Taylor and Ingram his first two years so teams could scheme him out so easily but with Sutton not making noise, kelcy just getting into game shape and no noticeable body at the other tackle spot, he is the only person there.
in baseball if you walk the home run king and his team mates hit weak ground balks and pop ups his numbers look average and his team loses. what teams are doing to clowney is almost like intentional walks in baseball. if I don't pitch to you you can't hurt me.
