I think were the key to our loss. Was at the game and am watching it on t.v. now. They are small and inexperienced.
Our D-line seemed to win at the point of attack a lot, but as soon as they swung it wide our linebackers were slow to react, and didn't tackle well when they did get there. When they did make the right reads, they usually got swallowed by blocks. Also, their inability to pick up lynch and provide inside help on those slant routes gave Georgia a blueprint for victory. I mean, you could argue that they built their gameplan around the explitation of our linebackers.
We need to grow up real fast in the second-level of our defense, because those linebackers might as well have been a screen door much of yesterday.
