this is actually pretty simple. teach olb on left side to maintain outside leverage at all cost! if we had done that more Gurley wouldn't have been able to bounce to the outside so easily. our lbs were jumping the inside gaps which with a back as good as Gurley is suicide because we he sees it he will bounce to the area vacated and get 6,7,8 yds. no need to change the scheme just have the players execute it right.
also if backs can't get outside the clowney would have much more impact with the ferocious backside pursuit he gives. but when the back is running away from him and never has to cut back, he can't make tackles.
