Or maybe Coach Fitz had a way of pumping up the guys moreso to get that extra 10% out of them. You know how some coaches make you want to run through brick walls? Maybe Joe doesn't bring that out as much.
I see where you are coming from, but I feel like you are looking WAY to into it. I think we lost because of defensive execution. And this all boils down to inexperience at LB and DB - and a new DL coach.
While we have very talented LB's and DB's, the majority of them are very inexperienced when it comes to PT in a meaningful game.
We've had numerous record broken in the weight room since Joe took over, and it's no surprise. I will not disagree with one thing though - there is no doubt in my mind that Craig Fitzgerald is better at pumping up someone than Joe Connelly.
