Help out Clowney by PUNISHING the opposing OC for focusing too much on double teaming him/running away from him. Seems like commons sense to me. How 'about taking advantage of the fact that the opposition is sooo focused on stopping Clowney? Doesn't that make their offensive game plan that much more predictable?!! So why not devise ways to attack them from "the other side", so to speak? You know what they want to do every single game (double and triple team Clowney WHILE designing plays which flow away from him), so why not try to outflank them? Attack them away from wherever Clowney is lined up with DL stunts and aggressive blitzing, and see how they react. Just my .02.
I think this entire board has figured out the biggest difference in this defense and last years defense, other than experience, is the coaching styles of Brad Lawing and Deke Adams.
The defensive line play is the biggest difference.
