Will or should Michigan fall in the rankings after their showing against Akron?
I think everyone knows Michigan struggled against Akron yesterday, but in the event some don't, I'll give a short summary:
Michigan got up pretty comfortably, but Akron made a big comeback. The score was 21-17 in favor of Michigan, and Akron had driven down inside the 10 yard line (maybe 5), but Akron threw an interception in the endzone to end their drive.
Later, Akron did score a go-ahead TD making the score 24-21. This was with around 4 minutes left in the game. Michigan drove right down the field and scored a TD, making the score 28-24. This left a little more than 2 minutes in the game (I think), and Akron promptly driving right down the field, reaching as far as the Michigan 1. The ended up losing 2 yards, and with 5 seconds left, threw a pass that fell incomplete to end the game.
My question is simple: Should Michigan's ranking suffer because of there showing yesterday, or should they stay put or possibly move up just for winning?
