It makes me nervous because I just heard a BCS head coach talking about this the other day on the radio. I think it may have been Brian Kelly, but not sure. He said that players who can't practice aren't improving. You don't improve without practice. He said the unit doesn't improve without consistent practice as a unit.
He was talking about it because the host of the show was asking him how injuries impacted preparation.
Our coaches always take a different approach and don't seem to ever be too bothered about players not practicing. I have never heard Spurrier say that much about it, but I would imagine that the truth is somewhere in the middle.
Chaz and Clowney are already great players, but they aren't going to get better if they aren't practicing.
I think Clowney's problems are his feet hurting. Don't know anything about Sutton.
