I do enjoy that Johnny Manziel has pretty much given the middle finger to being fake and playing to the media and has in essence said, "Yes! I am a douchebag! Now who's going to stop me? Are you not entertained? Is this not why you are here?"
This will be a textbook study in the "Just be awesome on the field and everything else doesn't matter" study of the student-athlete.
To this point in his college career, Johnny has done everything possible to push the envelope of being lauded on the field and chided off of it. ESPN does not know what to do with him but he is keeping the eyes glues to the sets and butts in the seats. The NCAA is scared to go near him now- he is there Heisman winner who maybe has broken NCAA rules - but they need him at least for now.
Yes- it is true that he cannot kill anyone or outright say, "Go **** yourself Texas A&M" but he is pushing the line of what media and fans will accept for and exceptional player...he is the Keith Richards of college football.
