Why was this kind of attitude allowed to creep into the team?
As the head coach, this is ultimately Spurrier's responsibility.
But oh no, Spurrier is literally the best coach to ever coach college football, this could not possibly be his fault.
I'm thankful for what we have accomplished the last 4 years
, but I think we have hit our ceiling with the talent we have. Until we get better talent, Spurrier's program management philosophy and methods will continue to hold us back.
It took Spurrier 7 years to win a national championship with the full cupboard of talent he had at Florida...So I think it's reasonable to expect it to take significantly longer to win a national championship at a job where the cupboard was bare when he arrived...
