I agree. But, as I said in another thread, I think if you start reviewing (and potentially overturning) penalties
, then you start down a slippery slope. Next thing you know, someone will be calling for PI penalties to be reviewed; Holding penalties - Instant replay to see if the left tackle moved .0000856sec before the ball was snapped.
I hate, hate, hate the rule the way it is, but the above is the only thing I can see that makes sense as to why they wouldn't wave off the flag when a review comes out and says that it ACTUALLY WASN'T WHAT THE OFFICIALS SAID IT WAS.
