I'm excited to have Shaw back, but I hope he starts running less. We don't need our QB running just as much or more than our stud running back.
In the last two games vs. Vandy and UCF, when Shaw has been in the game, the carries breakdown is this:
Shaw 23 carries
Davis 14 carries (*Initially I posted 18 but it's actually 14. 4 of Davis' carries vs. Vandy were with DT in the game)
That's ridiculous. Shaw is an effective runner, but Davis is a BEAST and needs to be getting the bulk of the running plays. We don't need our QB stealing carries from one of the best RBs in the nation.
Actually, it only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth.
