My post wasn't in response to yours so I dunno why you're even responding to me.
And your point is true, but only because of the schedule. Look at the top 25 offenses statistically right now. None of them have been limited by a good defense. You know why? Because if they had been contained, even in just one game, then they wouldn't be a top 25 offense statistically after 5 games.
Therefore, at this point of the season, it is nearly impossible for a team to stop a top-25 offense. Obviously, this will change as the season progresses, but he point remains right now.
Regardless, neither SC or CU have played a top-50 offense other than UGA. The difference is that Clemson's defense is shutting down average and below-average offenses.
However, with regard to the UGA/CU game. While CU gave up alot of yards to Gurley, and a garbage TD at the end of the game to make it look closer than it actually was, Murray was harassed all game long and sacked multiple times. Clemson's D-line is legit and is one of the best in the nation (with zero seniors).
