The current Clowney discussion, which has been fueled by both Spurrier and Ward, has to do with Clowney holding himself out of the Kentucky game. It has nothing to do with how well Clowney played in the first 4 games.

I would disagree with Clowney playing well so far this season. He hasn't come close to reaching his bar. Why blame it on his teammates and give him a pass?
