Negative. Those long runs they peeled off at the end were not against our starting defensive lineup. Backups were in at most positions.
I'm not thrilled at how easy it was for them to run against said backups, but again, they were - for the most part - backups.
Sure they missed an opportunity by fumbling at the pylon. An opportunity to make it a less embarrassing score, that's all. We also missed a golden opportunity ourselves by fumbling the exchange on a first and goal. Do you think we wouldn't have scored a touchdown there?
So let's give each team their 'lost' scores. In that case we only won 59-14 in a conference road game many on here thought we would lose.
