So tonight, all Klissmann had to do was to play our 3rd team, pass the ball, let Panama score a few goals and eliminate Mexico out of the world cup, yes lose, we didnt need any point.
90 minutes in the game, Panama was winning 2-1, Mexico was losing at Costa Rica, we just had to pass the ball and let the clock run for 2 more minutes.
The Americans scored 2 goals in 2 minutes, we won, we didnt even need a tie, but we won, that win gave Mexico life.
What do you guys think? Too much class from the players? from the Coach?
As a coach I would have played my worse players, its a rivalry thing, its a mans thing
As a Carolina fan, if you didnt need to win, would you have done it knowing that you were giving Clemson a shot?
This is interesting.
I dont know if it has to be with sportmenship but rivalries are also part of the game.
Im curious to know what most of you think.
What is more important, rivalry pride or sportmanship?
