I agree it would be an uphill battle. And it is a battle that will not be won if Shaw is only throwing it around 20 times a game.
But the flip side is that Shaw is starting to slowly get some national recognition. I think we would have to win out in the regular season, but I could see him passing some of those guys if we win out the regular season and he keeps playing at a high level.
I said in another thread yesterday that the media is like a dam breaking when it comes to how they latch on to stories. If Connor keeps up his high level of play, that dam is going to break in the next few weeks. You can already see the water starting to go over the edge this week. I saw more stories about Shaw this week than I have seen in the rest of his career combined.
