Expecting any BIG changes for Saturday.
Saturday has the feel of one of the biggest "must win" games of Spurrier's tenure. It is entirely probable, if not downright likely, that USC backs into the SECCG with a win on Saturday, but we have to win for that to happen.
Somehow, this game seems even bigger than all that though. It's about USC's legacy. It's about not allowing Mizzou to go the SECCG in its second year when it took us nearly two decades to get there. It's about salvaging what's left of our supposed "dream season."
I just hope Spurrier pulls out all the stops in this game. So, with that said, do you guys think Spurrier rolls out any big changes this week?
I have always hoped Spurrier would utilize a two tightend power ace set (essentially an I-Form with two tight ends on each side of the line). I really think that would shake things up. We HAVE to do some new things to win this game. We have to.
