Re: Statistically through Tenn
Stats provide information to be processed. They don't give accurate answers, because they are compiled in different contexts. The info you provided clearly highlight a contributing factor in both of our losses, but a minor one in the loss to Georgia (that was defense) and a major one at Tennessee (largely offense). In this year's SEC, you'd better bring a top 20 defense - teams are piling up points (except Fla and Ky). The reason we have 2 losses is the lack of games where we played a solid (not perfect) 60 minutes on both sides of the ball and on special teams ala Arkansas. We have to put it all together against good teams. Even with a sub-par offensive performance against Tenn, we win with a solid special teams performance (no shanked punt, no crap penalties on returns, no missed FG). All three squads have had letdowns. All three have had good games. We need to be consistent, execute well, and avoid mental mistakes on all teams.
