Understood, but lets say that the Football landscape changed. The new law of the land is that all major power conferences must have the same number of teams and those teams only play in conference until we get to the play offs. The top team in each conference then sends their best to the playoff system to determine the National Champ. The other teams in the leagues meet each other in bowls. So now no one avoids having to play both the weak & strongest teams in each conference. Nobody avoids the buzz saw.
I guess my question is, taking scheduling into consideration how do the power teams in the SEC fare if they have to play every other SEC team?
