Home heating and cooling question.
My family and I have lived in our current house since the end of May. Our heating and cooling system is what was described to us as a package unit. It is electric and has natural gas as well. My wife and I only had the gas service started last week because we figured it is only used for heating. Well it got warm enough in the past few days for us to turn the cooling back on. Can having the gas on actually help with the cooling? I'm asking because it seems as though the air is cooler, but it might be our imaginations. It also seems like the fan is blowing harder, but it doesn't make sense the gas would have an effect on that.
