Southern rural is my favorite ethnic food...the italians can keep their food and the chinese can keep there...I'll eat my everyday of the week and enjoy every second.

also my grandmother on other side used to make pomegranate and bourbon braised oxtails with stone ground grits with cheddar cheese that was out of this world. in those days oxtails were practically free just pay for the packaging. and the pomegranates came from out in the yard
