1. Cinderella
2. Motley Crue
3. Extreme
4. Ratt
5. Skid Row
6. LA Guns
7. Dokken
8. Stryper
9. Tesla
10. Winger

Exactly ! And I agree with your opinion of Hair metal bands.
I don't necessarily agree with some of your picks above, but because
in my opinion they sucked as well, but it's not my place to agree
with your picks on your list. I do however think you have a good
determination of what separates "Hair Metal / Glam Rock" bands of
the 80s vs Rock n Roll bands that sprang up during the 80s

Ratt , LA Guns, Winger etc.. were bands that I just could not seem
to like because they were (IMO) just trying to copy another band from
the 80s and the music was "cookie cutter" stuff. I know a lot of members
here have selected Guns n Roses as their most popular band along with
Def Leppord etc... There were some good R&B rock bands that came along
in the 80s as well, but I think a lot of people lumped them into the same
catagory as Hair metal bands. ..... INXS, Foreigner, Men At Work,
Guns n Roses, The Pretenders etc... were good Rock bands that came out
of the 80s. If I were pushed to choose a tag for Def Leppard, I'd also
call them a R&B Rock band instead of "Hair Metal" along with some of the
"new wave true metal bands" of the 80s Like Metalica and Judas Priest.

Good list up there bruh !
