I agree. I listed Bon Jovi on my list of 10 and ranked them somewhere
around 4th or 5th. I thought about it a while before I put them on the list
because I had a hard time of personally considering them a "Hair Metal"
act. What decided it for me was that if you look at Bon Jovi in the Early
80s, vs Mid to Late 80s, they Morphed into a much more refined / talented
band. I really think they molded themselves into a serious Rock band in the
later stages of the 80s. I do believe however, that they started out Ridin'
the Glam Metal wave.
