I never followed up with him about it. Now, he had the recent tragedy with his child. Seems like so many years ago. Really felt bad for him and what his family went through.
He was always one of the quiet ones on my floor. Actually they all were pretty laid-back dudes.
Garris Gonce was the trouble-maker, but he wasn't like over the top or anything.
I'm not a D1 basketball coach, I don't have Einstein's IQ, my dad's not a lawyer, and I don't have any inside information from reliable sources deep inside the Williams Brice custodial staff, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night while I was saving a ton of money on my car insurance.
