Default Scouting the Wildcats

Just from a quick glance at their stats...they Cats can score runs.
They average 9.7 runs per game
We average 6.8

AJ Reed is their big bat, with 9 HRs, 31 RBI and .403 average.
Austin Cousino and Michael Thomas are the other two big bats (both bat over .400 and have a combined 39 RBI and 5 HR)

Staff ERA-2.7
Our ERA-1.36

Reed, Chandler Sheppard and Dylan Dwyer look to be their top pitchers.

Kentucky looks like they have good starters, but lack when they get into the bullpen.

Here is the biggest telling stat to me though
Kentucky boasts a .966 fielding percentage (28 errors in 21 games)
South Carolina has a .980 fielding percentage (14 errors in 19 games)

As always, this game will come down to pitching depth and defense...I give us the edge in both categories...I do think Kentucky will take a game, and will score some runs...

They did beat Virginia to start the year, but lost 2-of-3 to Alabama last weekend...outside of that, no remarkable teams on their schedule.
