Young Black snake (as said above....it's a rat snake).
All rat snakes have this pattern at birth and for the first few months, but
if they're Rat snakes other than Gray or Corn Snakes (also breeds of rat snakes),
the markings will fade or morph within the first year of birth.

Harmless snake...good to have around to keep mice, frogs and lizards
from taking over the area
