They really do. I have a HP laptop Envy and the screen went black one day. Tried everything that I could find online to help. Nothing worked.
Called the support line and they walked me through ALL the steps I already did even after I told them that I did all of those things already. I had to run a 4 hour system check and that told me nothing except when I called back that they said I needed a recovery disk.
So, I ordered their recovery disk (yeah, yeah...I should have made one) and paid for it to be delivered to me overnight. What happened? NOTHING! Their outsourcing of customer support to some guy that speaks heavily accented bangladesh english screwed up my address. The L and M sound alike in my street address when spoken with that accent, so they addressed it to the wrong address and it is sitting in the fedex office, of which one I have no idea.
Fedex won't release it to me and I can't get HP to send me a new one...they just want to send a new order.
HELP!!!! I was supposed to get this on the 15th and in 45 minutes, I am going to call HP back. Any suggestions???? other than buy something else?
