    If you want to do that for one small room, they it can kind of help, but it won't replace your unit

    I have been using a swamp cooler in my shop for years and it works great.

    Would work as a spot cooler. But you still have to supply the ice. So either you buy that or make it yourself. If you make it in your freezer then the freezer has use way more energy.

    I am making a solar powered model to use on camping trips that run cold creek water to cool things off. I am also making a solar powered can heater for the winter camping trips I go on.
    I think it would be awesome if you could get Morgan Freeman's voice on a GPS. It would be like he's narrating your travels
