    My opinion on "Pulled Pork" is that it stands on it's own if you cook it right. Lots of places have to add vinegar and their own secret sauce to keep it from drying out if it has been left out to long on their heat units. I like for people to put whatever they like best on the pulled pork after getting some on their plates. Everyone has a different taste when it comes to BBQ Sauce and that has a lot to do with where you were raised.

    I agree, sauce should complement the meat, not be the basis for flavor. Good meat (pork, beef, chicken) should stand on its own with just a rub (or simply salt and pepper.

    Too many people want to drown meat in sauce to compensate for dryness or lack of flavor.
