Problem is you're pulling season total stats not averages for that to be the case. And that wouldn't be surprising, we've had a game cancelled plus our bye week. We actually won't have a good estimate in terms of total numbers until the makeup week. The only accurate thing to go on at this point is per game stats.

Again, Not true. Season averages are in those stats as well.

Either way, we're missing a game against a severely outmatched opponent (Marshall). Everybody else has had a couple stat-padding games. We've had one. So, we may not be able to have a true comparison in statistics until December 1. Not that stats matter, but it's an important distinction that impacts both offensive and defensive stats.

Yes, those #'s are in there, but you didn't sort by them; whether you did that inadvertently or intentionally, it still skews the total #'s (not the per game averages, which is NOT what you presented) when we haven't played the same number of games. I explained all of this several posts ago.

you act like 1 game is going to skew the numbers. That 1 game may or may not make a very slight change in the numbers. The amount is negligible.

Dude...he's saying your ranking numbers are wrong because you sorted by the wrong column to present the data.

If you sort by total number of yards and not the average, one game will make a metric ton of difference.

For example, let's say since it was a middle tier team, we put up 350 yards or so of offense--our ranking based on the actual number of yards would be 70ish.

Basically this. If you sort by total yards vs averages it's going to skew our stats negatively due to the re-scheduled game.
