Mother effer this BLOWS!!! We wanted a rowdy night game in the swamp, especially our first time in Gainesville. We made this a weekend. We’re going Friday night and coming home Sunday. Was hoping for an ALL DAY rowdy tailgate scene leading up to a night kickoff. Not a snoozer nooner. I’m not even in the mood to drink that early in the day. Oh well, I guess we can still get rowdy Saturday night and enjoy the UF bar scene.

Works in our favor, we complain about not being able to have as rowdy a crowd for the afternoon games at home, so UF won’t have one either. Mullen was complaining yesterday about crowd support, can’t imagine it will be better next week after two losses in a row.

And with two losses in a row, that Florida crowd may not show up, or can be taken out of the game with a good start by USC.

Plus, after USC wins you can sit back and enjoy the rest of the day.

This really does suck for us going, but great for the team. The swamp will be dead af for a nooner coming off a mizzou loss. Hope we have a lot of fans show up like we did ole miss so we can take over the atmosphere somewhat. Iím there all weekend as well booked a place back in June. Probably only going to tailgate an hour or so before so Iím not exhausted and can enjoy the evening activities Friday and Saturday night.

Lol if youíre serious youíre a moron. Florida is not that much better than us. This is the ideal situation playing at noon hopefully we can catch the Gators sleeping. Weíre gonna give up some yards to them but if Jake plays like he did against Ole Miss we have a decent chance to win. If we can win this one and beat Chattanooga and come into Clemson with a 4 game winning streak that would be sweet!

How is UF still ranked? They have the same number of losses we do, and two of them have come to the same teams we've lost to, but their third is to a team we beat. Is that LSU game really that impressive?

Because it’s florida a “storied” program, and the LSU win is somewhat impressive because of how LSU beat Georgia. That game was a fluke imo and Georgia was just having a bad day. It’s a more quality win than what we have, but we’re on the cusp of being ranked. If we beat Florida we’ll be ranked after that or after the Chat win I’m sure.

The LSU win gets less impressive by the week. Not necessarily because of how LSU plays, but the teams LSU beat that at the beginning were considered big wins and now not so much. That top 10 win over Miami? Yeah they just lost to Duke. Auburn? Gus avoided anarchy in that town by scoring 14 points in the last 5 minutes.

Since UF beat LSU, they had to come from behind to beat Vanderbilt and now have two straight division losses.

Florida has played two cupcake OOC opponents, we've played only one (although had we played Marshall we'd still have only played 1 cupcake OOC opponent).

UF lost to UK at home 27-16, while we lost to UK at UK 24-10.

UF beat UTjr. at UTjr. 47-21, while we beat UTjr. at home 27-24.

UF lost to UGA at a neutral site 36-17, while we lost to UGA at home 41-17.

UF beat Vanderbilt at Vandy 37-27, while we beat Vanderbilt at Vandy 37-14.

UF lost to Missouri at home 38-17 while we beat Missouri at home 37-35.

Essentially, the biggest difference is that UF beat LSU 27-19 at home, and beat Miss St. at Miss St. 13-6, and we lost to Texas A&M at home 26-23. UF has a more consistent defense than ours have been, but the offenses are pretty similar.

The good thing in our favor is that UF's offense seems to be struggling at the right time with us coming into town, and they are having issues at QB. That 1) may hopefully help with our issues in the secondary, and 2) give our own DL a chance to disrupt UF's offense. We may be strugglign a bit on offense in this game ourselves, more due to UF's defense than our own issues....

Florida’s defensive line us no joke and will give us problems all day. Really concerned about our secondary and running backs. Three of our four rb’s are dat to day and our secondary is a mash unit at this point.

Floridaís defense struggles against high powered offenses. They are great against the run but barely average against the pass. We need to have our offense in gear. They canít beat us in a shootout.

Felipe Franks is a huge liability as a QB. We have to stop the run and make him beat us. He is easily confused with zone coverages and is not an accurate thrower. Get a lead on them and put pressure on Franks and we win.
