I know, but still. Most receivers don’t catch that and it should’ve been called.

The PI not called when Deebo was mauled at the goalline was unreal. Sad!

The same type of catch Garnet Thor made last year.

    Terrific concentration on Bryan's part.

Shi, Vann, and OrTre will still be very talented as a starting receiver corps, but I hope Edwards stays anyways.

What draft grade do you think would make him leave? I find it hard to believe he would have anything above a 4th round grade, and that may even be a stretch. He definitely has the physical tools, I just don't think he has put together an entire season yet which could be a reason to stay.

He is basically Dez Bryant with slightly better hands and athleticism to get to the ball. Dez Bryant is stronger and probably 10-15lbs heavier.

Bryan Edwards can have a good combine and pro day and be a good option for teams looks for a WR1 (not immediately but). I don't know how valuable those receivers are to NFL for a team to take him in the first or early 2nd rd though.

This is a pretty fair analysis in my opinion. Typically, nobody puts together a “full season,” but I’ve thought Edwards has played well for the most part. He’s had a few bad drops, but that’s nothing over the course of three seasons. His measurables will be the reason why teams will want him. And like you said, he does have really good hands, even though the drops have felt more amplified this season since they’ve come at bad times.

Bryan is going to test extremely well. He has great size. His vertical will be strong and he will probably run 4.4 - 4.5 range after training. If he keeps up his high level play for the rest of the season, I think he is probably 3rd round range.

There were tons of PI's and missed calls by the refs that game but it was both sides, very lax let 'em play mentality. But things that happened in that game should be called no matter what, not a huge fan of the let 'em play and almost get away with murder.

They both list at 220 lbs. Bryan shows 6'3".

Yep, he already shows up in some draft lists. I don't see any way he doesn't leave. We'll miss him!

This throw was pretty juicy as well...

Remember back, late in the Holtz era I believe, when we had a receiver named Thomas (from the Atl area if I recall) he had a catch similar to this one. Remarkable catch, and this was back when these 'gloves' were first enabling players to make catches like this. That was my first thought when I saw this play. Thomas (pretty sure that was his name) didn't score, iirc, but Edwards somehow maintained his balance and did. Anyway, that was what I thought of and both are remarkable plays.

Tough to fault a kid that has a legitimate chance of making money. Don't know Edwards' financial situation, but another year would benefit him in draft status so long as the injury bug doesn't get him (every play could be your last). He'd have a senior QB in Bent (if he doesn't go to the Pats) and would have Shi on the other side to keep D's honest. But, if this is a down year for receivers in the draft, it might make sense. I would like for him to stay, but hope he does what is best for him.

Randy Moss liked the catch as well. He put it in his Wow! plays for the week.
