I guess the investment would be too massive, but I would have liked to see South Carolina get a team in the AAF. It may not even get a real chance to succeed since a lot of people will simply think of it as the NFLDL, but I would support it if there were a "local" team.

If any of you remember the USFL, it was fun. But it was also obvious that they tried to climb too big a mountain from the start. This is also where the JAX market came from that evolved into an NFL franchise.

The key is to slowly build a local fan base and keep the salaries & expenses manageable.

This is where we can tell how much schools like Bama and Clemson are cheating. If a 5 star gives up decent pay in these league for a college. NCAA needs to investigate the schools immediately.

Now you've heard it twice. I hate where professional basketball is, and only casually follow college basketball. If Carolina ever rebuilt their men's basketball I could be lured back in.

I donít see any possible way thatís a feasible goal.

Thereís 8 teams. A 50 man roster totals 400 guys, he thinks theyíre going to send 200 per year to the NFL?

The rosters are already composed of guys that either didnít make it to the NFL previously, or spent time in the league and were cut/went unsigned.

If the NFL wanted them, theyíd already be signing them. With small active rosters there isnít room to draft college guys and sign AAF players.

Best bet to move up from AAF to the NFL is to be a fringe QB who gets signed because a team gets desperate. I doubt that more than a couple of guys per year get a shot to get picked up.

If the current WWE product is any indication, the XFL will be DOA.
