BTW....go try and find some hash out west. You have all these BBQ places (Texas/Kansas City, etc), that seem to think they invented the stuff. They may know meat, but they don't know their hash/rice or slaw.
Best slaw I have ever had was at the Cattleman's Ranch outside of El Paso. It had pineapple in it...go figure. I'm not sure what they were tripping on when they created that combination, but they nailed it. I had to ask for another serving of the slaw. Had never seen that combination before, nor since.
