Default Best Hash & Rice -BBQ Restaurant

Since we all like BBQ and all like it from different parts of the state, what BBQ Restaurant serves the best hash and rice?

For me it is "Carolina BBQ - in New Ellenton, SC". I am not much on mustard style hash and rice (God Bless Those Who Do) and also not a big fan of Brunswick Stew - but can eat it if I have no other option available. Tomato based "hash & rice" for me.

100% agree with everything in this post.

My wife is originally from there. And we now live near Orangeburg.

So I rotate between Carolina BBQ in New Ellenton and Dukes in Orangeburg.

I like any hash made with good ingredients, ie lean beef and pork, onions, some mustard and butter and seasonings. Not a big fan of liver style hash. Wises and Sweatmans I agree are good.

Wards is interesting. I used to HATE it when I started working in Sumter years ago but it grew on me. Completely different than any I've had (very sweet) but my vote for the thread is Dukes in Blackville or Aiken. Grew up on it.
