Compare that to their last raises they got in January of last year (old salary amounts in parenthesis and bold)

Nickels/SAM linebackers coach Kyle Krantz $125,000 ($125,000) - no increase
Both Scott and Brown are new hires for this coming season, so their salaries here reflect what their starting salaries were set at. The 2018 article I linked stated the staff salary total made the staff the nation's 17th highest paid staff in the nation, and with last year's increases made it the 5th highest paid staff. Of course, that was at the time of the increase in 2018, and other staffs salaries across the nation were raised as well since then. But USC shouldn't have much problems with hiring staffs for our FB program anymore, I would expect. I also expect us to start getting the dividends from this staff on the field, for their generous compensations.....

If nothing else, this salary listing will help us be authoritative when ranting in the game threads.

"We pay (coach) freakin $ (huge salary) a year for this BS?"

Our assistants are on 1 year deals for the most part, there's a reason they need to get extended. They didn't get raises so that should be fine in everyone's book.

The year didn't end well. Hard to justify raises for anyone. With this year's schedule, I don't think anyone expects much.

All I can say is USC must really have money to throw away. I cannot see anyone on the list that deserved a raise. To sum it up... 28-0 to UVA. enough said

Can we sticky this thread for reference? I don’t want to have to print it out for reference. Thanks.

That $200k raise to Muschamp could have been used to purchase a 5* recruit’s family car wash business.

I can lose to to Kentucky and underwhelm with recruiting for half that price.

but seriously, Itís time to start winning games. This middling recruiting and losing to ranked teams is getting old.

Our sports program has a whole is doing better than ever, turnover is low. Facilities are getting better. I disagree with you.

Performance in Men's Athletics is very poor and is not showing improvement; notwithstanding, the freak Final Four appearance (which resulting in no bump in recruiting or team performance)

With all due respect to the small sports, those aren't the ones that generate revenue or the ones that gives the department/school exposure.

That's fine, but they are still his job, and as a small sport athlete its nice to see the facilities upgrade there, attendance be high, and coaches retained. Dawn coaches a lesser followed sport but she brings a ton of exposure.

as for football and basketball and baseball.
-Football is a year removed from 9 wins. It was tough last year but not exactly a trend downward.
-Basketball: It made sense to pay Frank a lot of money after the final 4, and I have been less than impressed with Frank but its not like Tanner is at fault for Franks early season mistakes.
-Baseball: This is the one program I absolutely agree that Tanner has botched. He let Holbrook stay here far too long, and run down a great program. Its been a terrible year and Meade should have already been canned. With that said, we are a year removed from a Super Regional, we beat Clemson and UNC in a year we knew would be down. Let this play out a bit.

Personally I don't get the Tanner hate in general. He hasn't had to do a lot. He hired Muschamp, but I still think that was a good move. The guy is a great recruiter and fighting for his coaching life. If he fails you know he is going to leave the team full of talent, if he succeeds he is going to be loyal. Also his coaches love working for him, which helps keep them around.

Womenís basketball actually gets more exposure nationally than college baseball does.

When you say something is "not Tanner's fault," it's certainly his responsibility. If it keeps happening, it is his fault, and he's accountable.
