    Default Sidewalk construction in Cayce

If you live or work in Cayce you've no doubt noticed the sidewalk work going on all up and down Knox Abbott Drive. Not only are they pouring nice concrete sidewalks but they are also putting a nice brick border on both sides as well as entirely bricking wrap around corners at intersections.

It looks nice but I gotta ask, why so fancy? You almost never see anyone walking on the sidewalk? Is this a Federal grant of some kind?

Is this in the area near BC? If so, it's probably to match the brick facade of the mecca that is the BC Football Stadium and new Gym.

It's funded by a TIF district and is part of an effort to improve aesthetics and quality of life in Cayce.

When are they going to put those nice sidewalks down Frink St?

Glad they finally decided to spruce the place up after I moved.
